There's a problem with the pictures

What is exactly "thermit wootz"?
Heaten with thermit.?
But thermit produce fast and sudden heat.… contrary of wootz, isn't?

Ok, I believe pictures are better. Sorry for begginer mistake.

freddy1 : it is waste of thermite welding. This material made my friend from CZ. It have 1,5 % C and 62 HRC
