Do you ship internationally? Why not?
No. After trying several times to make international shipping a feasible option, we have resigned to the fact that it can't be done with out products in an economical fashion. In the economical means (first class, priority) there is no way to guarantee delivery nor insure the delivery. And although that may not be a problem when things go well, when they go bad we always get holding the bag. Because paypal and credit cards will automatically refund a payment for an item I can't prove was delivered. And while most customs agents and customers are stand up folks, there are those that simply are not. We were having a 15% loss rate and that was putting us in the red on international shipments. When we went to express, which we could insure, and the delivery rate was exceptional. But customers complained constantly about the $30-40 shipping fee. Then, along came Fish and Wildlife! Any package that has a non-domesticated animal component (stag, horn, ivory, pearl, abalone); must be claimed on the label and a Fish and Wildlife inspection fee (at the time was $91) paid per package. There were also licensing requirements. At that point we decided to discontinue it altogether. There are those that still ship these items internationally; but the first time they get randomly inspected will be their last.
