I have profiled the whole knife, fitted the blade to the backbar in all three positions, and fitted and finished the scales. So now, they are on their way to Stefan for scrimshaw
I used the design where the scales stand proud over the bolsters couple of hundredths, so that i can finish the scales now, and the rest of the knife later on, then just put it all together. This makes it easier for Stefan, giving him more time to work on it.
BTW: I love this shape of knife, i think i will use it at least once more in the future
Thanks for looking, take care,
Ondrej

I still need to machine the back lid to accept the glass, and to fit into the case.
Thanks for looking, take care,

papi a écrit:Finally some progress:)
I got the stuff from the HT today, so i just buffed the backbar and the bolsters and etched them. I had it all prepared from before HT, so it went pretty smoothlyNow just to finish the blade and then wait till i get my scales back from Stefan.
The watch case is on its way to my goldsmith for some accessories now:)
Thanks for looking, take care,
Ondrej
