Both g10 and micarta look realy good.
How do you make that ? sanded ?

I am using a very simple small bead blasting machine. Like this:

This kind of machines are used by dental technicians and dentist In Poland. I am not one of them by my mom is . A pressure I am using is about 0,3-0,4 MPa. It gives a better grip so I am using this finish in almost all my G10, micarta and CF handles.

I made a short video with this 'nessmuk' showing how the locking mechanism works. I like friction folders but have many ideas how to make a friction folder with separate locking mechanism. So it can turn in a sec from friction folder into a fixed blade(almost ). This is one of this ideas, a very simple with granade lock.


So in the end some photos of my titanium bottle openers.








There will be more photos when I will find time finish something new
