Here are another two Rio Tatu knives, an 8" version of the T01 and the smaller T02, wich is also made of 3/16" stock, but smaller and shorter, with a 4" blade. This one has a black G-10 handle.

Here are some pics of the Wilson Fighter, a compact straight edge knife designed by Martial arts teacher James Wilson. I have made quite a few of these, and trainers, for his dojo, and also some variants of it. Lastly, I made six heavy duty blades in 6mm K-100 steel, and still have three of these to assemble.
Here are some of the first ones and the cord wrapped one is a compact version of it, slimmer and with a shorter ede.

Here are the three last Wilson Fighters I have made, all in 6mm K-100 tool steel.
The first as a hand rubbed finish and ebony handle.

The second has a grey etched finish and black/green g-10 handle

And the last one I have made so far, with etched finish and granite g-10 handle.

This one was ordered to be a wedding gift. I should have posted it before but I forgot to upload the pics.
Although it looks smaller in the pics, the blade is around 8" long, made of 3mm thick 1070 steel, and it was hand rubbed.
The back of the alde has the traditional hollow grind face on its entire extension - the first time I tried it and it was a pain in the neck to finish.
The handle is red caviúna, a very nice local wood, with an ox horn bolster. The entire handle unit is press fit to the blade and can be removed as a single piece, although I don´t build my handles exactly like the traditional Japanese ones.
I just got an order for another like this one, but with a 10" 52100 blade this time. I realli like to make kitchen knives, especially the Japanese style, because these are probably the custom fixed blades that see more action, and wish I had more orders to justify making more of them.
Let me know how you like it!

Merci!
And ere is one I ave finised recently. I aven´t made many friction folders tis year.
This one has a hand rubbed 2 1/2" 5160 steel flat ground blade, wich was slightly etched and then polished again to look aged and a very nice caviuna wood handle that fitted the aged blade quite naturally.

I finished this one a couple weeks ao and is probably the only spare kitchen knife I´ll make for this Christmas.
The 52100 9" long blade was forged some time ago and I didn´t know exactly what to do with it but when I saw the maple handle laying next to it things clicked togheter. The horn bolster was "imported" from the Japanese knife style knives I have made latelly and along with the light wood and the tapered blade worked fine in aiding on the knife balance.
Overall, a very nice to handle knife with a thin edge that will do very well for its intended purpose - and it even looks good too!
Let me know what you think, buddies.
